Lake Concordia Perch, Crappie & Sac a Lait Fishing

Lakeview Lodge, nestled along the shore of Lake Concordia, is the perfect spot for the fishing enthusiast to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and catch some fantastic fish.

And what fishing there is! Lake Concordia is a prime fishing spot for sac a lait, also known as crappie and white perch, along with largemouth bass, striped bass, white bass, blue catfish, channel catfish, flathead catfish, bowfin (choupique), bluegill, red-ear sunfish (chinquapin), spotted gar and alligator gar.

Lake Concordia is also stocked with hybrid bass, which is the product of mating striped and white bass. Hybrids are more tolerant of higher water temperatures and can survive in Southern climates. They feed mainly on shad, and can best be caught by using swim baits and rattle traps. In especially warm water – 70 degrees F or higher – you’ll have the best luck fishing for hybrid bass in deeper, cooler water.

Located on the south end of the thousand-acre Lake Concordia, Lake View lodge is just minutes away from Vidalia, Louisiana, and the tourist mecca of Natchez, Mississippi. Cypress trees line the bank of this beautiful, open lake, used for both recreational boating and fishing. Our clean, comfortable, well-maintained and affordable lodge features some of the friendliest and most efficient staff around.
